Only cheap plastic smart meters with a very low power rating will catch fire and burn. Do you know what the power rating of the smart meter on the side of your home is? Lets try 47KW, or 202 amps. How many homes now have a 200 amp service? LOTS Turn on an electric motor and BOOM your home burns to the ground. Got to love smart meters. They are called the Ford Pinto of meters. One good bump and your home burns to the ground, possible killing firefighters and home owners.

Up there in Canada, The power company called BC Hydro burnt down a RCMP home. Now the poor cop has to find another place to hang his holster. We are all wondering what excuse they will give him for burning his place? In BC, Canada, about 30+ meter fires have all been the customers fault. ;-) I don't think putting a Ford Pinto on the side of your home and blaming the driver, I mean home owner when it catches fire is fair. Ford tried it and that didn't work. Where is Ralph Nader when you want him?
