Trumpet concert by Tartini played by Baldvin Oddsson and the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra (ISO)

Baldvin was 14 years old at the time of the recording (recorded 2008) ( born1994) and is studying with Guðmundur Hafsteinsson (ISO), Ásgeir Steingrímsson (principal ISO) and also with Fritz Damrow (Concertgebouw, Amsterdam). He uses Yamaha and Shilke trumpets.

The Tartini has long been one of my favorite performance pieces, and it is always a crowd-pleaser. And though I've performed this work for many years in many different venues, I was NOT able to execute it in this manner at the age of 14! Bravo Baldvin! Keep working hard, young man!

1. He's playing a piccolo trumpet which has 4 valves so get your facts straight.

2. Don't try and call this kid a faggot when you just came on here to troll.

3. On a 3 valve trumpet, a player can play up to 7 notes (unless they change partials using their lips).
