Alex Jr. (Kitten) was rescued out of this tree 50' in the air after being stuck for 2 and a half days with freezing rain starting the day of the rescue. Midwest City Fire Department Ladder 2 (Blue Shift) made the rescue. Firefighters also were on the ground holding tarps to safely catch the kitten if it lost footing and fell.

    This was my kitten's rescue. The big ice storm had just started and the cat had been up there for almost three days. I will never be able to thank the fire department enough!!!
