What I heard he was originally a Deathstroke clone, along with a bunch of other Liefeld characters, but then somebody got the brillant idea to make Deadpool a parody of 90s style anti-heroes.

mk gets to fight dc

and marvel gets to fight capcom

i think they should switch them around because marvel is a lot more graphic than dc and has alot of characters that are simalar to those of mortal kombat for example: kung lao can fight captian america and the lizard doctor guy from spider man can fight reptile
