I doubt it. My uderstanding is that many of the Jaw Hawker leaders were not present. Sure the raid killed individual jaw hawkers, potential and possible jaw hawkers, but it also produced many more actual jay hawkers..

I think this attack practically destroyed the Jayhawkers, who were the pro union guerillas and had their headquarters in Lawrence. So even if the confederates lost in the end they won the guerilla wars between the Jayhawkers and Bushwackers.
