  • ur not really suppose to shoot sub sonics out of any semi autos becouse it dosent cycle right

  • @1PerfectProduction You can as long as you know that the bullets have enough power to exit the barrel. Some firearms will cycle some subsonics just fine; it all depends on the combination.

  • So do the super and subsonic ammo sound basically the same coming out of the 10/22? It's kinda hard to tell from the video.

  • @FirearmFanatic99 It's barely noticeable because of the action noise.

  • Definitely a difference in action type. My subsonic ammo in my 10/22 performed about the same as yours: noticeable, but I wouldn't pay much more for it.

In my Rossi single, on the other hand, the difference is dramatic. Even more so with a powderless load like the Colibris.

  • Yea, I noticed a FAR greater difference when these were used in a bolt action rifle.

  • I have been through too many boxes of Remington subsonic to guess the number out of my 597. With suppressor attached the only sound you hear is the bolt cycling. Never had a failure to feed with Remington but have occasional cycling problems with Aquila subsonic.

  • you can fire subsonics in 10/22s.. you just have to cycle the bolt manually.. it's not gonna do any harm to the gun whatsoever...

  • @FirearmFanatic99 The Remington subsonics still come just on the border of the speed of sound so depending on environmental variances it will still break the sound barrier and give that "crack" the CCI CB long rifle and shorts exit the barrel at a much quieter 700fps basically all you hear is the firing pin hit...then the target being struck. Even in a semi auto the CCI CB are extraordinarily quiet. The main issue is they may not completely cycle your action causing more jams. Marlin M70 PS

  • 3 dollars a box of 50 here for the rem subs, gone thru a couple hundred have had around 8 failure to cycles. Not bad thru my cheap mossberg 702. XD

  • Bought some Winchester subs for my Mossberg 151M.Haven't fired them yet. Might need to give them to my friend. He just bought a Marlin 39A
