RIP Exotic Dancer. A tribute to a great racehorse whose misfortune was to belong to the same era as Kauto Star, his great rival whom he came 2nd to many times but never managed to defeat.
Exotic Dancer tragically died at Aintree racecourse on 2nd April 2009, just over half an hour after finishing a gallant second in the Totesport Bowl chase. He will be best remembered as a 'nearly horse' whose consistency and bravery endeared him to many racegoers.
