  • just 1 Q... Is there any possibility i can always share internet connection with some1 who lives in Connecticut while i live in NY? If u kno a way of doing this please make a step by step video or explanation.

  • as far as i know there is no way to share an internet connect for those distances

  • I can Use my old mac? i dont know what version it is but all i know is there is a monitor and a keyboard. Most are colored light blue.

  • do you mean an iMac G3 ? PowerMac G3 ? click the Apple logo > about this Mac > more info > model Name

as long as it has an gig-a-bit ethernet port and running tiger it will support internet sharing!

  • Great video Ben...

I was going to do this with my G4 but then the rooter got moved to my room...

    Great vid again,

    Tom

  • Thanks tom!

Yea having it plugged straight into the router is quicker and easier ! but it is still a good alternative !

  • @RatedAbstract , no, no not really kiddin you.. im more than 100% serious. I must have it.

  • @One4theworld are you kidding me?

  • what if....

    computer 1 is a PC

    computer 2 is a iMac g3

  • The way it is self-evident: You buy an Ethernet cable as to be able to share your Internet connection between two or EVEN MORE computers; the point is that you plug the Ethernet cable into the modem as well as the computers. There you go!

    Easier, faster, self-evident.

  • HELP ME!! MY ICS STOPPED WORKING!!
