not a fan of pioneer faders, the only fader wich is high quality is the crossfader on the djm909 wich you'll not find on any other pioneer mixer besides the old 707 wich went out of production years ago.

Thanks for this preview! Thats cool. The annoying thing is that u need external fx...

I dont like it, its huge and doesnt actually have anything new. Pioneer have lost the plot with this.

i really wish it had effects
i like my djm 3000 just wish it had midi and it better sound quality
i like the zone it can come in handy alot
but i really want effects :) just the simple effects that a cheap behringer mixes comes with would do :)
Hello, question in the headphones how do you listen to the cue & the master output at the same time?
Thanks
Joe

You can press the cue button for whatever it is you want to listen to and adjust the cue/master mix with the knob on the left.

@DJNik - seriously? Big? This is a standard 19" rackmount and in terms of height, it's no larger than other rackmounts. I think where Pioneer have really upped the game is the simplicity of the interface yet a massive dose of features and superb quality.

It's going to MAP at $999.
The effects were removed in favor of mic effects and the sonic maximizer. If you're so hard-up for effects, use the S/R loops with an FX unit!
For those complaining about no phono-ins, a $12 pre-amp will do it. Most DVS users use turntables for TIMECODE, not records.

so is the usb port used for the midi?
djskinnyguy 2 years ago
Correct; MIDI over USB. For those who require a 5-pin DIN connection to send MIDI signal to another device, you'll need to first go into your computer and use a piece of software (such as MIDI-OX) to re-route the signal in your computer and send it out via a MIDI interface to your other gear.
