The people were laid off in Canton because the plant was re-located to Anderson, SC. I was an employee there. They eventually laid all of us off as well and pretty much shut the plant down.

Yeah - people work hard at Timken. Put in long hours. And what do they get in return at Timken? LAID OFF. Timken's a sh*t hole, always has been. I think it's time for Timken to go the way of The Hoover Company, it's outlived its lifespan and should throw in the towel. It made it to 100 years, it won't make it 150. It's Leadership doesn't exist anymore, it has no innovation. Timken - is dead.
