In 1966, Ray Bellamy made history by becoming the first African-American scholarship Football athlete in the Deep South. This video tells the story of the integration of college athletics, Bellamy's recruitment by the University of Miami's president, Dr. Henry K. Stanford, the struggles of other black athletes, and the challenges we still face today. This video won 4th place nationally for Senior Group Documentary at National History Day in 2008.

  • THESE STORY SHOULD BE SHOWEN TO THE PEOPLE IN BATON ROUGE BECAUSE LSU OS TRYING TO WHITE WASH THEIR HISTORY. THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE LARDEST HBCU IN WORLD THOUGH: DEFUNDING PASSING LAWS IN LOUISIANA THATS SET UP TO HURT THE HBCU, CHARECTOR ASSASSINATION IN THE BATON ROUGE MEDIA, TERRORISM WITH THE CONSTANT FEAR OF THEM TAKING THE SCHOOL OVER, MUNIPULATION AND ESPIONAGE.. THINGS HAVENT REALY CHANGED IN THE SOUTH. ITS MORE SUTTAL..
