@exking5 Tomas Kalnoky, lead singer/guitarist of Streetlight Manifesto, used to be in Catch 22, and left shortly after the release of Keasbey Nights to go to college (the entirety of which he wrote). When he got out of college, he formed SM. After SM first album, their record label proposed re-releasing Keasbey Nights (it's a very highly regarded album), to which Kalnoky said he would just re-record it with SM because he didn't want people paying 15 dollars for the same album with new cover art.

@pwnsaucepwny I like Keasbey better as a Catch album. To me it had a lot more raw energy and they were really in the zone to make that record because they wanted to not because they felt it was their civic duty (which in my opinion seems to be the latter). SLM just wasn't in the right mind frame to record that album. However, all in all I like SLM's original work better than Catch's, to me Everything Goes Numb is the epitome of any form of ska music.
