Tsukiji Fish Market - Tokyo

6) "Tsukiji Fish Market" is a huge wholesale fish market in the city of Tokyo that supplies fish and seafood for most of the restaurants and food markets in much of Japan. I found a taxi at about five in the morning while suffering from jet lag. As you can hear in the recording, it was raining profusely and very windy. A typhoon was brushing the western coast of Japan at the time. Visitors were expected to get out of the way of the many four-wheeled vehicles moving crates and boxes of fish. The sound track is a multi-track soundscape collage.

@IceCube7 Ohoho you want to talk about profit? Then go look at how many fishes those corporations in America catch. Take McDonald for an example. They had to switch the fish they made their fish fillet out of because it was getting over fished and becoming endangered. Do you see masses and masses of fish being caught here? These are just small time fishers.

Also I know this because of personal experience, I have been fishing for a long time and now that draggers and the large fishing vessels have taken charge of the ocean it is harder to find and catch fish. Go on google and type in over fishing then you will know what I am talking about.

@MrAyanoMinegishi555 I was talking about the tuna fish in general, as we speak tuna are becoming more scarce along with many other species. The Japanese, chinese, and korean draggers in the Pacific area are abliterating the fish populations until there is nothing left. It sounds like a bunch of shit but it is true. The same thing but in a far worse category is that japanese whaling and dolphin fleets.
