The Democratic National Convention begins today in Denver - follow the action on YouTube's Convention channel at:

http://www.youtube.com/2008conventions

Delegates from around the country are gathering in Denver to nominate Senator Barack Obama as the Democratic candidate for president.

This video features entries to the DNCC/YouTube's "Why are you a Democrat in 2008?" contest. Thank you to everyone who submitted! The winner, as voted on by the YouTube community, is also in Denver, documenting his Convention experience:

Be sure to stay tuned all week long to YouTube's Convention headquarters for behind-the-scenes footage, personal interviews with party leaders, and delegate uploads straight from Denver. It's the most footage you'll see of the Convention anywhere.

If YOU have a Convention-related video, make sure to tag it "2008conventions" so we can find it and feature it on the channel.

Stay tuned for more from the GOP in Minneapolis-St. Paul next week...

  • such garbage...

  • Obama won't change a thing, because Pelosi was involved in the planning of 911, the war on Muslims, and everything else the most evil people on Earth have thrust upon us.

Has Obama changed the wire-tapping laws, and every other assult on the Constitution. NO! 911 gave politicans more power, and they love it. They orgasm in it. If you still think Clinton is on YOUR side, you are lost.

  • goto BlueInkStudios and watch our leader dance in style!

  • BARACK OBAMA BABY!!

Watch our new President dance, shake it and break it .... in style .... Billie Jean style! Baby!!

  • once again Anus2mouth, you have posted to the entire world what a moron you truely are

  • I wonder if the agressive imperialism will change with Obama. I hope he will at least listen wise people like Chalmers Johnson.

No economy can´t be based on just building weapons to destroy poor countries. Stop the addiction for oil and start to produce something useful again.

China is way ahead already, yet their military spending is 6 times less, no wonder, they focus on producing somethings that people on this planet really need for living, not what they need for dying. God bless us all.

  • Defeated? Tee hee, that's rich. Its actually a great time to be alive watching the Republicans squirm right now. Your comment just crystallizes that notion. Republicans say the exact polar opposite of popular reality...that's their whole tired strategy.

Got news for you; no one is buying it this time around. 8 years was long enough.

  • Obama:

    Bill Ayers

    Father Phleger

    Tony Resko

    Jeremiah Wright

Drink the cool-aid democrats, you deserve him.

  • bishop1971 - You sound a bit defeated, poor soul. However, that's no excuse to be running down blind people.

  • Anyone trying to demonize Obama with obvious lies and spin garbage while putting McCain/Palin on a pedestal, have a seriously distorted view of reality. Facts are facts and the truth of the matter is that the Republicans don't even stand for their own talking points. It's all a big ugly show. More to the point, they don't intend on helping middle America (the dominant population; probably most of you party line towing Republicans included).

It's just sad that so many people are totally blind.
