  • I love this movie, I espeically like the song and the last seen of the "Ilumination" where they hang the lanterns in the tree. As I do my geneaology I see the names of the people who were in Bostons. LIke the Olivers, the Edwards, the Cottons. The book all this came from. Paul Revere His Life and Times.

  • @progressiverebel It is awesome that you have connected your ancestors to those who had a part in the making of our great nation. We need to see more movies come out about the revolutionary war as that seems to be the only thing that sparks interest in our young people. I am so grateful to Disney for making this movie and that I can post clips on YouTube to share. Thank you for your comment.

  • @LoreneFaith Captain John Parker the Rebel Minuteman Captain at Lexington is my 5th cousin, Sam Adams, who helped start the entire revolt is my 7th cousin as is his cousin President John Adams,

There was greatness in those men. Washington is my 2nd cousins, Jefferson is my 3rd, General Daniel Morgan of Cowpens fame, and the movie the Patriot is my first cousin and Daniel Boone is my great uncle as is William Wallace of many generations before as is King Robert the Bruce and Edward 1 of England

  • @progressiverebel My goodness! I am an honored (sincerely) to meet someone of such American, Scottish and British roots. I have been to the place of the Cowpens battle in S. Carolina. I have always been a big history buff myself. I have some interesting ancestry, but not as impressive as yours. Thank you for sharing your history with me.

  • @progressiverebel I agree that there was greatness in those men and we need more like them, especially now! I am glad to meet someone who is proud of his impressive ancestry. I know of others, (my half brother) who is a decedent of William Wallace and could care less.

  • Is this available on DVD?

  • @PrettyIrishGirl74 I believe that it is on DVD. If you do a Google search, you should be able to find it.
