@tc2ads To avoid Microsoft Licence, you can use OpenNI with ASUS Xtion (it uses the same sensor from PrimeSense).

custom cloths in any style and without needing to stock clothes... No overstock and the scanner would be cheap enough for a start up... Great idea.
A small mall store essentially becomes the size of a mega super store.
A computerized fabric cutter that could cut out custom sizes would be great.
or just use the data to determine the exact cloths in the store that fit them perfect, not just size but proportions too.

This is only a technology demonstration of our capabilities - we have the Microsoft Kinect Development SDK and plan to be in full compliance will licensing terms with their Commercial SDK and license this fall.....and ready to launch the day it is available!!!

Ehm.. i hope you are aware microsoft does not allow usage of kinects for commercial purposes yet?
