The precision of the start of this made my jaw drop, then the ballet of it all made me laugh, then all of the rest of it put a smile on my face that hasn't stopped yet.
This is only the start, and I hope there's so much more to come, both at LHR and around the rest of the world. But this makes it clear that you've achieved so much already!
Just a fan from Teesside, with no professional connection, who hopes to have reason to use LHR T5 some day. :-)

@Arbarano 36Km/h is a constant speed, non-stop. Other transport modes are constantly stopping and starting. Because of that cars average under 30Km/h in traffic and light rail averages only 20Km/h.

wohh those things are breaking the land speed record!
What would happen if a pod fails to reach it's destination, or if they bashed into each other? And do the pods have air conditioning and lights? If so, are they LED, or flourecent or what?

@TodayHi1953 There are many redundant safety systems to ensure that the pods will never collide, including something called the "Automatic Vehicle Protection" system as a measure of last resort. And the computer control has ways of ensuring that pods will always reach their destination. They do have full A/C and interior lighting, which is LED-based.

@nathankoren IF theres a snowstorm and the pod road is full of snow?

@888COMPAQ There's a specialised snow & ice removal vehicle that is deployed to take care of it. Unfortunately Youtube won't let me post the link!
