every school has a Sam Gilbert, don't kid yourself. In noway am i a fan of UCLA but i'm a giant fan of college sports and every major program has a money who helps from time to time. when a big school has a great team men with money want to be a part of it.

Sad, pathetic, ungracious jealousy. Wooden won with great players, and he won without such great players. As to where they came from, if you think schools like North Carolina are loaded with players year after year, all the while doing everything on the up and up, you're kidding yourself.

Why doesn't he honor Sam Gilbert? Gilbert is the reason they won all those titles. Wooden wasn't winning shit til Gilbert started paying off players to go there. Go Tarheels, a CLEAN program all the way. And gave us MJ!
