first thing is its been said many times that bert was following orders from his coach when he went after moore. not that it makes it ok... just that people drop all the blame on big bert.
second thing is it was a stupid, cheep hit, but ive seen worse cheep shots result in nothing... it was a freak accident that they both went down the way they did and broke his neck..

just so everyone knows... after bertuzzis "incident", he visited the guy in the hospital and apologized and while he doesnt talk about it theres no doubt he feels awful and regrets his actions. it was a classless dirty move but its in his past but now so stop bringing it up
