  • Someone should decrease the profit of animal fur so that hunters would stop killing for easy money... These low-lives only waste their fuel and time on unfair hunts. This is just too spoiled and childish! >=P

  • Wolves hunt game, humans have as well. But wolves aren't natural prey.

Hunting moose and caribou is one thing, but this wolf hunting is just a violation of nature. The very fact that they need a plane to do it is just proof.

  • STUPIDITY OF HUMAN BEING WILL NEVER STOP GETTTIN HIGHER

  • Couldn't they tranquilize the wolves, put one of those invisilbe fence collars on them, to keep them away from human hunting areas, have a few towers to trigger the shock if they get too close

  • Why hunt wolves, you cannot eat them !?

  • "they chase them until they are exhausted and can't run no more.......and it is a brutal way to go"

isn't that how the wolf hunts only they start eating thier prey while it is still alive? Looks like Karma to me...no wolf deserves a quick easy death.

  • They're nice and all but there are too many in Alaska and they had to be taken care of. They populate much faster than the remaining species. It wasn't a secret and Sarah Palin's talked about it over and over again. This idea that people get off on doing it is insane. If that were true, they'd be doing it with the other species in Alaska. But they don't which leads most rational people to conclude that there are two sides here.

  • @wongthegreat Huh? please show me where the pipeline has the melted the ice or permafrost as we call it up here. You do realize that the caribou herds where the pipeline run have increased drastically? Thirdly the issue with wolves deals with the low moose numbers in susbsistence zones. Once again more meddling from the lower 48....

  • I'm sorry but the reason for most prey species lost now is because of the development that is now happening in AK especially with the Pipelines. It has been built onto breeding grounds of Caribou, Migratory paths are interrupted, and with the extra heat coming from industrialization it has melted much ice that has formed land for most prey species to travel. THIS and human hunting/ sport is what is causing the decline not wolves.. We say wolves because uneducated people have nothing to blame

  • @BFMVWolfess Wolves only take the old weak or sick in a heard. I learned that in school. I also believed that for a long time until I started getting out into the wild. Wolves usually go after moose or elk calves because they are easier to take down. They are equally skilled at killing young horse foals or any other domestic livestock they have an opportunity to kill. If hunger makes them brave enough they will kill a full grow bull moose or caribou but there preference is for the young.

  • What Most People Don't Realize Is. The Wolves Are Not To Blame For The Decrase In prey Numbers, It's The Human Hunters That Are. Wolves Take Only The Old, Weak Or Sick Of The Heard So The Strong Can Go On. Humans However See The Leader Of A Heard, And It's Usually The Strogest And Shoot Him For The Profit Of Having A Head On The Wall. Like Said In The Video, How Can You Say You're Going To Control The Number Of Something If You Have Nothing To Base It On. It's Pathetic And Un-Educated

  • Poor, uneducated public........Nothing against wolves, but humanity is the problem. As we expand into the wilds we reduce and upset habitat. The problem is better blamed on Alaska or someplace 'else' so you don't have to deal with the disruption of the balance of nature wherever you live. How much do you think you kill or has been killed or made extinct when you drive down that paved road, or eat food from that great big farm?
