Either way, like I said earlier, the bogus loans were largely written in 2005 & early 2006--google this too. The dems gained control in Jan 2007--the mess was already created, but yes, I admit, the dems didn't try to stop it.

Google "Bush tax cuts". Not only did he give them cuts in 2001, he did it again in 2003; not to mention all the exemptions they ( & large corporations ) get every year.

Well, if it were military cuts, that shouldn't be viewed as bad. In the end, he balanced the budget--we weren't at war with anyone that was costing us billions each month.

Though, I would hardly call Bush fixing military cuts when he sent our troops to Iraq w/o the proper gear, and let Walter Reed sit in desperate need of repairs.

It's bad logic to posit that the president under which things fell apart is the one who caused the crisis. Certainly Bush didn't do anything to stop it but the housing crisis was created by Freddie and Fannie and legislation proposed by liberals.

Lastly, the uber rich do pay most of the taxes. And if Buffet wants to keep talking about how his secretary gets shafted then maybe he should pay her more.

It was not any sort of fiscal responsibility that resulted in a balanced budget in the Clinton years, it was simply a result of military cuts. Cuts that the next president had to fix before tackling the problem of Islamofascism.

You can't keep referencing Bush to justify the present. And calling that government conservative is ridiculous. Even if the Republicans were synonymous with conservative, the legislative branch was largely Democrat for first two and the last two years.

Over the course of the last 30 yrs, whites education levels have remained steady, and some cases actually decreased; while hispanic and black students trends have significantly increased! How do you explain that?

Either way, getting back to what I originally stated, this hasn't a thing to do with the corruption in the Dept of Education!
