Bringing back the good memories.

@a44468 Thnx for reaction. I am really like the MTH models, it is very high on mine wishlist. Hope to get it in the future! Regards

thanks for the reply, our club layout has very wide curves so no problem mounting the tender with the closer hole.

@geargrinder12 They are about $600 a piece, so not cheap.

I like BLI but am thinking of getting this. is it worth $500-$600? also thinking of getting A BLI brass cab forward for about the same. Which is better in your opinion Does this have auto couplers?

@tjseid Its a very good model, it doesnt have auto couplers (you fit them yourself for some reason). In my opinion both engines are cool, id choose which ever fits with your layout better. Sorry i cant be much help but i myself rally like both.

What do you think? Is it better than the Trix one?
Frabas02081912 1 year ago
@Frabas02081912 To be honest, yes. The trix one is just too expensive to use that much and the MTH version has smoke already installed. On top of that the MTH version is about 3 times louder so it can be heard well.

Great looking engine! One thing I'm curious about, are there multiple points for the tender draw bar? Every pic I've seen has the tender to far back for my taste

@bad92vet there are 2 holes, but i dont know if you can use both for running, as i just use one.
