The three sisters go back in time to the 1970s, when their mother was still alive, to try and prevent her from making a pact with a powerful warlock in which he spared her life in exchange for the girls' powers.

@gottajacket: Prue is the worst ... She experienced her mother's death in front of her eyes since the young age. Her grandmother was always being strict with her so she had to carry out the obligation to take care of her sisters. She lost her true love very early. She gave up everything for her sisters.. She died before she could meet her half sister Paige. And she could not come back ... I WANT Prue back .

they did but when wyatt was born he kept setting it off for attention n they couldnt tell the difference between that and a real demon attack so they abanoned the idea after leo almost lost his powers
