This Miami team has been one of the most remarkable to play in Coral Gables, and with 51 consecutive winning seasons, that's saying something. Hitting? Maybe they're not Murderer's Row, but they're something close. First baseman Yonder Alonso has 21 home runs, leading the ACC. He also leads the team in batting average at .380 -- one of eight players over the .300 mark. Second baseman Jemile Weeks -- the younger brother of the Milwaukee Brewers' Rickie Weeks -- hits .374 and center fielder Blake Tekotte is at .371. But perhaps the most important factor about this team is that those three guys, the core of the team, are juniors who are almost certain to leave for pro ball after the season. After going to the College World Series as freshmen and falling just short, they have an incredible drive to get back to Omaha and not leave without a title.
