  • I miss those grubby independent video libraries that went extinct somewhere in the mid 90s. I had a local one where the owners would smoke inside & i used to love skipping school & grabbing 5 now obscure titles at a time. All video libraries now are so generic it's sickening, i would never find anything that interests me in one of those. That's why i don't waste my time with video libraries anymore, they're all shit now, i rely on the internet. The video library is slowly becoming extinct anyway

  • Dude you are right on the money with that awesome comment. I couldn't have said it better myself. I did the same thing for years. Go to the best video store I could find, that had the best horror section and rent them all till I had seen 'em all again and again. Then move on to the next vid store and do the same. I tried to make my collection the "ultimate" video stores horror section. It's been a lot of fun doing so. I'm an internet shopper today myself. Stores are gone. Thanks for writing. J.

  • sad these are probably so rare because all the vid stores threw em out when they made the change to DVD. about 6 years ago i picked up some corny 70s n 80s vhs for a dollar a piece from video easy. a real shame you probably couldnt find them anywhere now days and now all the dvds in the store are just summer blockbusters from the past 10 years

  • You're so right MrThommyB. In with the DVD's and out with the old VHS tapes. That is the thinking of all national chains. And while that does stink, it sure helped me to get a lot of great movies I wanted bad. But, now the DVD is next to go. They'll attempt to push the bluray on us all next. I know it looks amazing, but I can't afford 'em. Not on a large scale, at least. I don't even have a HDTV yet bro. I'm so VHS. haha. Thanks for commenting! Later, J.

  • That's where I've seen it before. Since I don't have another release from overseas's I passed. Thought I'd wait on a official American DVD release but, no luck on that. I guess I'll have to go the VHS route, which is fine by me. Thanks for the info. Later, J.

  • cool, I have tons of japanese VHS, The last shark is pretty common, you can probably get it for less than 30.00, its on ebay from time to time.

  • Darn. I want one Japan released vid, or two. Both Shark films. The Last Shark (Great White) and another I can't remember the title off hand, haha. Silly me. Thanks for commenting. Later, J.

  • Cool! I have the uber-rare Japanese VHS of Bits & Pieces.
