@SCOGbook i don't think the name of the "fallen angel" is even known to any one. "lucifer" is what the romans called the planet venus; "sheitan" and "devil" are titles, which is why the word "the" always comes be fore those words - as in, "THE president", "THE prime minister", etc. and i think the "casting out" of lucifer is symboic of the ancient romans "casting out" their pantheon of gods in exchange for the jewish/christian god, who then usurped their former gods' place in the heavens.

@bryanttillman well, to be fair, it did seem they'd agreed to "play fair". but then again, just be cause some one doesn't play fair in games doesn't necessarily mean they're a bad person over all... it just means they're a bit too competitive.

@qwyzl No the story is not in the Bible..but it seems you know that. The entire Lucifer and Satan doctrine derives from an ancient Persian myth that Christianity adopted. A simple look at a the Is 14 passage shows what the lucifer is. The latin word is simply a reference to a King who was brilliant(bright morning star) He thought he was the God venus that rose before the Sun in the morning. The writer of Is 14 knew what he meant and Christendom made it to meant something different...again
