  • Is building a helix difficult for O-Gauge trains?

  • That depends on how much experience you have had building things. At minimum, you will need to be able to use a power saber saw, and a power screwdriver is nice to have also. Depending on how big and how many layers, it can get quite heavy, so its also nice to have a second set of hands once in a while. See comments on my other movies for more details on the construction. I would think it is easier to build one for 0-Gauge than smaller gauges, since O is more forgiving. Hope this helps.

  • was this the first Märklin Train that appeared on the market?

  • Sorry. The layout is 3 rail 0-Gauge Lionel, MTH, K-Line, and Williams trains. The LCE bullet train shown in th video is a LGB G-Scale.

  • The top will have telephone poles 'guard rails' all around it where there is no bridges like the ones already in the video. The train will go up the helix on the outside rail, so should tilt inward if it derails. It will come down the inside rail, should derail towards the outside rail, so I hope I have it covered.

  • Thanks. I'm working on it. Will be a loooooooooooong time before its finished.
