Hey dear friends,

Here is a video were you can see me drawing the fur of a dog portrait commission.

Finished Drawing can be found here:
http://d17rulez.deviantart.com/art/Commission-Cnoed-148318404

This video has no sound or music, because youtube wont allow music anymore that isnt yours.
A tip: Put your own music on, while watching this video!

This video is just to show you people how I work and to show that it is a real drawing.
Plz comment about the quality of my drawing and not of my video.

You can skip parts if you like... but for the artist here who really want to see how I work, they can watch it entirely of course.

I hope you enjoyed the video, and that it can help you with drawing.

  • Truely amazing!

Where do you get your mechanical drawing pencils???

I've never drawn using mechanical pencils and mainly just use regular pencils, so I wanted to know where you can buy mechanical pencils like the 0.5mm, 2H and 6B pencils you used in this video for the drawing.

  • @artkitten137 The thinner they are, the better it it. The typical mechanical pencil is a .7mm pencil. The reason why it's better is because if you make a mark and it's not thick enough, you can just do it again to make the line thicker. If you have thick led, than the lines will always be thick and won't fit properly. Then you will have to erase a lot, and usually that can't make the line thin enough without erasing most of the line and leaving marks from pushing down to make darker.

  • wow the drawings are amazing like everytime :D but a little tip ... put music on your videos its quit boring without sound ^^

  • i love your art! btw i was wonderin, if does it really matter if u have a certain pencil? cause i only have normal machanicle pencils, will they work?

  • You are an amazing artist. How did you start? What kind of drawings did you do when you did start and on what kind of paper? Also are you self-taught or did someone teach you how to draw? :)

  • how do you do the dog nose? mine looks really off. plz help meeee

  • I could barely breathe when i saw this lol your works amazing.
