  • How do you do this cos ive two BenQ FO9IG+ s connected together and it still doesnt work!!

  • @GemEmiratesA380

It's easy. Just expand/extend your desktop. Now if you now start the flight simulator you have the simulator on one screen. The other screen is dark. Now go to the menu and select add a new window or add a new view.

Now you have on the monitor, for example, you cockpit in full screen and a little second window. Now you can right click on the second window and select view, ... cockpit, or any view from outside or tower. Now hold left mb and move the window to the other screen.

Finally just change the window size also to full screen like if you change the size of a window in windows. That's it.

Now you have left the cockpit and right the outside view, for example.

  • SLI are you high

I know, it didn't run fast because of the mainboard and the graphic cards. The Maiboard supports PCIE 2.0, but only with 8 lanes when 2 cards are in the system. And the old 8800 GTX was not PCIE 2.0, it was 1.0 or 1.2 or something like this. The bandwith was to low.

Now if I would try it, it would run faster with SLI. Now I have 3-way SLI board. At the moment I have 2 Geforce GTX 470, both on 16 lanes.

  • @davidguca just kidding with you grate graphics waaayyyy better them mine lol

    :)

But now at the moment, I'm using the X-Plane 9 simulator. I like it much better than the MS FS.

  • @davidguca Thats not even it, the difference between x8 and x16 SLI/Crossfire configurations only gives you about 2% advantage in performance. FSX simply doesn't support dual graphics cards very well.

I actually run FSX with all the bars and sliders and options full open, on a GTX460 1GB, 25/30 fps

  • @davidguca Niiicceee do you fly online?

  • @ruckelz74 This was on a Asus P7P55D Pro, with a Intel i5-750, 8Gb RAM (DDR3), 2 Asus Geforce 8800 GTX and 2 Asus 24" (2ms) monitors.

Now I have 2 POV Geforce GTX 470 in SLI mode.
