I've been playing the flute for about a little less then a year now. Please feel free to give me your critique. I've really found this to be a beautiful piece...Enjoy...
Great for a beginner! I'd suspect you played something else before the flute given your familiarity with sheet music. Work slowly and carefully through the tricky parts, and invest in a metronome if you haven't already. Good luck! :)
I'm impressed to hear you play this song with less than a year of experience. Things I would work on would be sustaining the ends of notes, use of vibrato, and attacks (especially in the higher range) I've played this song on flute for many auditions and even weddings. It's a wonderful piece and you got a great start. The things I suggested will come in time, so keep working hard. If you have any more questions, please ask me on my channel.
ive been playing flute for almost 2 yrs and i am also playin this piece to keep me in shape over the summer i have to say your really good but try to slow down a little and keep your grace notes shorter and also dnt rush i kinda felt you were speeding up and remember to slur!!! but other then that your amazing for a beginner :)
youv'e only been playing for less than a year? thats pretty good for a beginner. :D like the other ppl said work on your tempo its supposed to be andante.
It's a bit too fast. Notice that the tempo is andante. You're playing at a more moderato tempo. You might want to check your metronome for a good tempo.
i think you need to slow down a bit and and work on the dynamics and your sluring is great but the touning part is to fast and dramitic....other than that you are awsome XD
Ok so i have been playing for Six and a half years. Yur really good but I am also playing this peice right now for a Solo Contest. And a few pointers for yu would to be make yur Half notes shorter in the frist half. And take the repeats every time.
I have that same book! And I've been playing for 8 years now. Another really good, pretty easy piece that's really fun is siciliana and gigs on the next page.
Great job for a beginner and best of luck if you continue on with the flute.
You Need To Slow Down and Play More Sweetly, Because I Believe Adante Cantablie Means Sweetly. That Should Be Somewhere At The Top Of The Piece Of Music.

you are definitely the best beginner flute i have ever hear.
my recombinations are to practice slurring a bit.
your trills are amazing and so are your staccatos.
while slurring try not to tongue the first note so hard and make it flow better
amazing job

another thing added to my comment was make yur grace notes shorter and make sure yu hit the low grace notes so that they can be heard, and use air,.
