Barack Hussein Obama II (/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/ ( listen); born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American to hold the office, as well as the first president born in Hawaii. Obama previously served as the junior United States Senator from Illinois from January 2005 until he resigned after his election to the presidency in November 2008.

Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.

Obama served three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he ran for United States Senate in 2004. During the campaign, several events brought him to national attention, such as his victory in the March 2004 Democratic primary election for the United States Senator from Illinois as well as his prime-time televised keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. He won election to the U.S. Senate in November 2004.

Obama began his run for the presidency in February 2007. After a close campaign in the 2008 Democratic Party presidential primaries against Hillary Clinton, he won his party's nomination. In the 2008 general election, he defeated Republican nominee John McCain and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Obama is the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

A year of fiscal hemorrhaging and executive constipation! 1. Make move to close Gitmo, but oops didn't figure on place to put them. 2. Makes a move to release Gitmo photos- oops lots of people against this move. 3. Makes a world tour cutting down America, our religion, and apologizing for us. 4. Reverses all funding to train people to get off of welfare, (which was very successful). 5. Signs Bill funding 750 billion dollars for bailouts.

6. Goes on yet another apology tour to South America and shakes hands with his buddy Chavez. Chavez gives Obama his book on how to ruin a country. 7. Signs Bill funding another 750 billion dollars in stimulus for shovel ready jobs. 8. Ooh Car Makers like GM and Crysler are in trouble and too big to fail says Obama and his union buddies. 60 Billion goes to bailout GM and they still fail.

13. Pelosi is caught in a lie about her knowledge about water boarding. After being caught she backs off of dragging Bushies in front of a committee. 14. Iran refuses to meet with Obama and takes a hard stand on nukes. 15. Obama pushes Cap and Trade in a time of recession. 16. Health care rears its ugly head, and Obama and the democrats tell one lie after another to promote it and sell it to the public. Price tag over 1.5 trillion. 17. National Debt over 10 trillion.

18. Unemployment hits all time high, more unemployed than ever before 10.2% 19. Obama waken in the middle of the night to be informed that he has won the nobel peace prize after being in office for a little over two weeks. Huh? They woke him for this, but a terrorist on a plane they wait three days to tell him.

Obama loses Olympics, Gitmo still not closed, troops still in Iraq, more troops going to Afghanistan, stimulus still not spent, half a million out of work each week, ruin of health care on the horizon, we are still not loved and adored throughout the world, CSPAN is not showing us the inside deals being made on bills, out debt is out of control, our protection against terrorist is weak primarily from Obama attacking agencies like the CIA
