Touch & Go at Fleming-Mason Airport

Nothing fancy, just a simple touch and go in a Cessna 150 at Fleming-Mason Airport (FGX) in Flemingsburg, KY. There was an 80 degree crosswind from the right at 10 knots, which made for good practice.

You need to wait just a little longer before making your left turn to final. Looks like you may have been slightly below your glide slope. Good touch down!! You do like I do by drifting to the left of the center line....LOL Isn't flying a blast? Be safe!!

Yup, I definitely turned way too soon. Didn't mean to have such a rounded base-to-final. Not my best approach and landing, but they say any landing you walk away from is a great one, right? :)

You are exactly right about any landing you can walk away from is a good one. Thats what my flight instructor always said to me. At least you got it on the ground thats the main thing!! Be careful making those sharp turns to final during strong cross winds. Have fun and be safe!!
