kawasaki is da bike for me!!!!

@neothespian In the UK the Kawi 250r is fuel injected but for whatever reason not so in the states we get ripped here in the US.

@neothespian yeah i noticed the same thing.. a lot of these seem to be opinions too.
in anycase, i've always said you really cant compare the two bikes, since they are really advertised for two different things. if you want more horsepower, and sportier look, and want to go fast, the ninja 250 is your man.
if you want newer technology with better gas milage and are looking for something a little bit more in town, the CBR250 is your man.
two different bikes for two different purposes..

Nice suspenders. (:

If that makes sense...

@neothespian funnily, in Brazil the ninja comes with fuel injection (and we don't have the cbr yet, the only competition is the hyosung gt-r 250, which is branded kasinski here)

@neothespian i've been looking a Ninjas near the end of 2011 and now in 2012 and they are fuel injected....oh, wait, well i live in the UK... so over here all bikes are fuel injected pretty much but if you are american than yes it still has carburetors, small down side but still, Kawasaki have dominated for so many years that they have made it spot on with everything it needs, Honda have just put a digital clock on and a slug exhaust.... the Ninja 250r is still the best 250cc bike in the world.

@pjdaprinz Totally agree mate, well said.. :)

@neothespian you know your country isn't really the only universe. The Ninja is fuel injected everywhere else but in the US !

Started out on a kaki 250 now ride the zx6r the kaki out does honda here in america we have the carb ninja but id take that over the Fi honda if that mean i don’t have to have the linked abs. abs is great on abide but not when its linked

The two MAJOR points you neglected to mention in the CBR's favour is the fact that the Honda is a Fuel Injected bike while the Ninja 250 is still carburetor fed. Also, the CBR comes (at a cost) an optional anti-lock brake option which the Kawi does not offer. Granted you won't catch me dead with a linked ABS braking system on my bike, but some do prefer it. Fuel Injection means fresh cold starts, no choke, better MPG and less maintenance. Huge win for Honda in my eyes
