Curious about this model radio:
Does it have 6 KHz filter for AM operation? I ask because I had a Yaesu FT-100D years ago and the 6 KHz AM filter was optional and the radio sounded terrible on AM without the optional filter installed. I love this model (FT-817) and would love to have one for amatyeur radio operation, however, I also love to operate in and around the CB band (26-28 MHz), so I'm wondering how well this model works on AM in this range???
