  • Also, General Electric scientist believe that smoking prevents Altzheimers!

  • Wow, Ronald Reagan was promoting flat panel TVs.  Way ahead of his time.

  • It wasn't just predicted. A lot of that technology was already in early development in the 1950s.

  • That flat screen GE was freaky, WOW from the 50s. Back then many things were predicted, like wrist radios (cellery phones in a watch), home computers to replace the slide rule, rockets to the moon, cars that could drive themselves, automated homes, and robots that do housework. Many inventions of today have their roots in scifi from the 50s.
