Mitt Romney's recent comment about the 46% of Americans who don't make enough income to have to pay FEDERAL INCOME TAX is indicative of the level of MENDACITY that is part and parcel of today's REPUBLICAN PARTY. Someday the GOP will be do everything possible to pretend that Romney never existed ...... much like they do BUSH JR. The real kicker may be that Romney could ALSO be part of the 46% since he is unwilling to reveal his pre-2010 tax returns.

What? "Elegantly"? Do you mean "eloquently"?

Such bull crap. Hopefully Obama wins. If this bigot wins the election, it will be a disaster of epic proportions for this country

There really isn't any "actual definition" of morality, only approximations. Dictionaries define it differently, philosophers define it differently...etc, but most are pretty close to each other.

I define it as 'A code of Values, Virtues, Principles and Paradigms accepted by choice'.

Acceptable? Or do you have a better?

We'll stipulate to the prerequisites for morality. What is your definition of morality? Does it differ from the actual definition?

No. I not talking about the police, the military, courts or ANYTHING ELSE that's CONSTITUTIONAL. I'm talking about ALL government programs that STEAL from one American in order to give it to another, and I'm talking about ALL programs that STEAL from ALL Americans in order to give it to other nations. NOWHERE in the constitution is the government given the power to REDISTRIBUTE (which means STEAL) wealth OR income.

On #2 you said, "I wrote an entire BOOK in the subject, and you?" How do you write a book "in" the subject? What's the name of your book? Who exactly are these PIGS you're referring to? Is that a derogatory reference to the police officers in the town you live in? Is it possible to call yourself CONSERVATIVE if it's obvious that you're a LIBERAL eater like Sean Hannity, Chris Christie, Rush Limbaugh, Dick Morris and Dick Cheney based on how fat you've become. In all fairness Christie's #1.

    1) Nope, I'm talking about selfish PIGS who believe they have the Right to the fruits of anothers labor.

    2) I wrote an entire BOOK in the subject, and you?

    3) What's my solution? To begin with, make STEALING illegal like it used to be.

When you talk about the "public trough" are you referring to society as cattle? What are you doing besides whining to bring about a solution? Have you somehow isolated yourself from all of this? What's your solution @soggyapples?

    1) So you agree that Reason is a prerequisire of morality?

    2) ABSOLUTELY. Two reasonable people can disagree on WHAT is moral and WHAT is immoral. In fact, if given enough time, I could prove that no two people have the exact same moral code. However, we're getting WAY ahead of ourselves. You have great questions, and I answered most of them in my book, but your questions can only be answered AFTER we agree on a definiton of morality, and after we agree on WHAT IS NEEDED for morality to exist
