  • I have had some great advantages and drawbacks with this shoulder rest. Advantages are, sound, shoulder freedom and various comfort capabilities.

    However I have found many drawbacks also, first of all, if the violin is unprotected the chin rest rubber is not enough, and after use it will be tattered, this means that the metal can easily dig into your violin, second of all, I can never, ever find a suitable location for it, no matter how much I shift it.

  • Is there any heights adjustment?
