Freddy 'Sez' has been at the heart of the Yankees spirit for decades
He was a die hard fan that went to every Yankee game.

He never sat, instead he traveled from section to section leading cheers, carrying his signature handmade sign and good luck pan for fans to bang with his metal spoon

In August of 2010 Freddy participated in a film shoot starring Robinson Cano
directed by Brian Beletic

Freddy claimed to have not met very many Yankee players over his lifetime which is surprising considering Freddy is synonymous with Yankee Stadium

In this special moment, Robbie and Freddy meet

Rest In Peace Freddy

  • Im a huge Yankee fan growing up in California. the first time i got to see the Old Stadium i thought he was a crazy old amn. I got to pound on his pan without knowing that man was the biggest part of Yankee history. Looking back im thankful for meeting him. Im only 15 and i was 10 at the time. RIP Freddy
