  • These things have a diff lock? Looks in parts where the wheel's off the ground like it's spinning at the same speed as the rest of the ones which are in contact with the ground :o/ Didn't think L200's had it tbh

  • @NumeroUnoUberMoose

In Australia they were available with an optional factory rear difflock, which is what I have. Newer models now have traction control and the rear difflock.

  • Nice tritey, Im up grading my mk to the MN, What tyre size are you using (standard 245 or have you gone to a 265)? Looks like better flex than my MK although I dont have a diff lock.

  • @RubberBudgie7 - 265/75 R16. The ute has slightly better flex now as I replaced the stock suspension a few months after posting this video.

  • great video, When I first got my GLXR triton it was purely due to safety features over the 1 year old nissan we had and to be honest I hated the handling of the GLXR off road. Lack of comm and feel in the wheel... reality is it handles better the same terrain our 2009 nissan did (and that had a high lift kit and expensive aftermarket shocks) and jus does with out much fus. Places in mud that used to be a bit dodgy. Love it... guess I mistook capible for lack of feel. Prob go same again

  • @chrishaigh82 - my 2007 ML Triton suffers from the exact opposite.....too much feedback from the steering wheel. Mitsubishi fixed it by late 2008, but now people complain it is a little vague in steering response. I would gladly have it vague!

  • @FreestyleCab are you on stock shock absorbers? and 2wd or 4wd preset? (is it possible to engage read diff lock when in 2wd preset?)

  • I think this truck is great in every way appart from it's looks, shit it's ugly!

  • @FreestyleCab Cheers for the info. Good addition!

  • when you went to this track was there a massive ledge at the end of the hill, i went a few months ago and broke a cv joint and bent my steering column, just wondering how long theres been a ledge there for... cheers

  • Be a real man and get a 2.8 double cab 4wd hilux. They can kick the arse off these things if you're serious about going offroad....

  • Great video Freestylecab. I linked a video response for a driver's view of the wombat holes from the newtriton forum trip. It's a shame you couldn't make it. The tracks were a bit washed out from the recent rain but the 12 Tritons did it easy!

  • I'm in the market for a handheld, saw some good articles on gpssatnavreviews (.) com
