J.D. Simo visited RS Guitarworks, bringing his RS Slab '59 and a Reinhardt Sentinel.
Shown are before & after photos of the guitar, after a year of gigs and sessions in Nashville. JD's Slab '59 started out as a lightly-aged guitar, but after hundreds of high-energy gigs and sessions, JD has transformed the guitar into a true Road Warrior.
Because of JD's playing style, the nut has been replaced 4 times, and he's gone through 3 sets of bridge saddles. Initially shipped with a white single-ply pickguard, JD replaced the guard with a white 3-ply guard, like one of his hero's...Mike Bloomfield.

They built it, he naturally aged it.

I was in Nashville for 5 days and heard him playing as I walked by. I stayed the rest of the night and went back every night I was there. You have to see him live to get it. He really stretches out live. Amazing live.

Anybody who has never seen this guy on stage before needs to make a trip to Nashville to see him play, and it will be worth every penny you pay to get there. Simo is the most electrifying guitarist I've ever seen on stage...this guy will knock your out of your seat with his monster skills and stage presence!
You seriously don't know what you are missing until you see this guy TEAR IT UP on guitar.
