Same thing happened to me. I used to scour the internet for this song. I was thrilled to find it. I used to play the 78 of this all the time. And I sang it every spring for years and years. No one I knew ever knew it except my mother.

Thank you so much for posting this. I could not believe it when I found it. Every year, on the first of May, since I was a little girl I have sung this song. I had found the 78 as a child and played it over and over and over again until it broke. Now, at 50, I am so happy to hear it again!
