i think they're saying that because he's trying to play the blues. and instead of focusing on feeling he focuses on speed once again. when he does some classic pentatonic riffs they sound great. but then he rips into IMO more repetitive speed runs.

BTW I saw your video. if your the one on the left I dig your style. and I noticed you did a pentatonic/mixolydian type thing once. I like doing those myself its pretty fun to mix the two scales.

im not to happy with this just because i htink your going way to fast for an amazing blues feel but dont get me wrong theres other ppl that do it yngiwe, batio, petrucci, satch, vai and the list goes on; but i think iif you focus more on feel yitll be greta.............im still amazed by your right hand O_O
