why not? the magic were playing defense so its not like they werent aware of the pistons playing

Exactly. That didnt cost them the game because they had a chance when they regained the lead from the Pistons. It's they fault that they lost it in the end cause they had a whole 'nother quarter.

this should not happen in the playoffs but it was not the end of the game so the magic had plenty of time to come back this did not cost them the game

You could say they won by 7 is no difference but it was a 1 point game with 30 seconds left to go so instead of being up 2 magic were down 1 which changes your shot mentality.
When it comes down to it, stuff like this should never happen in the playoffs.
