Hey Joe King fans - Joe just announced a reunion tour for June 2011 in Texas with the original Crowns. They're playing in Dallas @ Poor David's Pub, Austin @ Antone's, and San Antonio @ Sam's Burger Joint. Thought the fans would want to know!

i've seen joe so many times i can't count them..one time my daughter and i went to see him at a fair somewhere...the date was changed, no one knew the right time and place so there were only about 5 people there. he played the whole concert from a ferris wheel wireless a wireless mike and wireless electric guitar...afterward, he visited with my daughter and i...it was so cool, no one is cooler! i need a jkc concert big time...anti aging treatment!

I saw Joe and the Crowns open for the Police in Houston's Summit. The nerves got to Joe that evening and he ended up vomiting onstage....but what a show!

The one time I saw Joe "King" was somewhere around Daytona Beach on a really crappy day outside on the beach.
There couldn't have been more than 25 people in the audience but Joe and his band played like there were 25,000.
He was just great, and so were his records.

I see him around town with his old band Los Number 2 dinners, hes the coolest guy! LONG LIVE JOE KING !

Hes like the ageless wonder. I last seen him in Las Cruces in the mid 80's and now he doesnt even look old enough to be in a band back then. Nice career he has made for himself. Better than working a regular boring job for damn sure.
