I loved Gene Vincent, Be Bop A Lula as a teenager. I don't know where I was or where these ballads were, don't remember radio play in '50's early '60's. I want to download some of them, esp Lonely Street, the best version posted here by John1948 I think.

In the history of music during my lifetime, no one could sing a ballad better than Gene. He had the natural voice for it. Many of these should of been big hits, no! as we use to say in my younger days.. smash hit. So beautiful this is.. thank you for posting it.
