The first preview clip of Boris Malagurski's latest documentary film "The Weight Of Chains", explaining how Privatization Through Liquidation destroyed the Yugoslav economy.

The director of this film, Boris Malagurski, has made several films to date, the last one being Kosovo | Can You Imagine?, a controversial documentary exposing how remaining Serbs in Kosovo have little or no basic human rights, which won several awards on film festivals around the world and was broadcasted as well.

The Weight Of Chains, a film planned for release in late 2010, will deal with tough issues concerning the breakup of Yugoslavia and the consequences of a decade of instability and war. The films goal is to present a Canadian perspective on Western involvement in the division of the ethnic groups within Yugoslavia and show that the war was forced from outside regular people wanted peace. However, extreme fractions on all sides outvoiced the moderates and even ten years after the last conflict the hatred remains and people continue spreading myths of what really happened in the 1990s. What really happened?

This film will also present positive stories from the war people helping each other regardless of their ethnic background, stories of bravery and self-sacrifice. The aim is to come up with a powerful weapon that people who are against war and hatred can use as a collection of good arguments in their favor. The disunity among peoples populating the Balkans have marked the last couple of centuries. Lets start a new page, today, in the 21st century.

  • TRUTH can not be hidden forever , THANK YOU SIR Boris Malagurski

USA tried to help , but they created HELL and destruction supported separatist states , desintagrating SERBIA wanted to keep Yugoslavia united Americans said ooooo no no no we have better PLAN for you.

  • @oktyone It was an experiment but for an extend it worked because Tito at least knew what he was doing, he was rich and had a cult of personality but he kept Jugoslavija from breaking up, if you notice Serbians did liberate both Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia at the end of WW1 to create Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians, renamed to Yugoslavia later..and even despite war crimes ofCroatia still Yugoslavia was reneved and Serbia wanted to keep it intact in the 90's..now they are evil? Explain:(

  • @Fairplayer75

You cant beginn at the end of the story..... in srebrenica for example the croats and muslims killed 5000 serbs mainly women and children... after that the serbian answer was brutal i know... but they did not kill any women or not even a single child!!

the first attack in bosnia has been from the croats against a serbian village ... all of them... slaughtered and burned in their houses... it was a pure anti serbian war. they just tried to save the unity!

  • @Fairplayer75 Yeah, but who financed the extremists to begin with. Once they get the power its over.

  • Neocolonialists ruined ex yugoslavia.,ok, but WHO KILLED ALL THE CIVILIANS?WHAT ABOUT THE SIEGE AND DESTRUCTION OF SARAJEVO AND ITS CIVILIANS FROM 1992 TO 1995, for exmp? WHO DID THAT? WHY DID YOU SKIP THAT? I SAW AND HEARD THE VOICES OF THOSE THROWING MORTAR SHELLS ON THE CITY! THEY WEREN'T AMERICANS, ETC.THEY WERE SERB EXTREMISTS (NOT SERBS-SERB EXTREMISTS!). OTHER EXTREMISTS DID WAR CRIME ATROCITIES TOO,BUT IN SARAJEVO IT WAS MAINLY HEAVY ARMED SERB EXTREMISTS AGAINST CIVILIANS ..MAINLY...

  • true no hidden

  • I just got done watching this movie online. The first part wasn't that good and it was pro-serbian and pro-yugoslavian. But after watching the whole thing it's a good movie. Shows how things really work.

  • @oktyone you see I have nothing against you personaly I'm sure you are a kind lovely person, butyou like many others follow themedia..strange thatany movie/article that talks about EU unfavourably is considered anti-EU propaganda, and completely discarded as anything credible? This movie is considered propaganda, all German, Austrian, Czech movies about Kosovo are considered anti-democratic propaganda, so the only credible sources are the ones supporting EU? This is democracy and free speech? :(

  • @oktyone to be equals in a free trade united europe, but to be a free market for their goods..in order to join EU you must sell all your banks and the economy is controlled by appointed people from the EU...if it was an equal zone for all member states, then the economy would belong to the states themselves. For example, Slovenia, Hungary, both were declined living standards and hundreds of thousands of people lost their jobs because imported EU goods were just too cheap for home goods.
