Ludwig
van
Beethoven's
Piano Sonata
No. 14 in C-sharp minor

"Quasi una fantasia"
Op. 27, No. 2,

Popularly known as the "Moonlight" Sonata (or Mondschein)

Recorded at JEUGIA in Osaka

piaNOwarist: eLi gARF

piano: Steinway B.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The sonata has three movements: 1. Adagio sostenuto
2. Allegretto
3. Presto agitato

Since there is no way to fit all three movements in one video (on YouTube), I have broken this recording in two different ways.

on this channel, you can find the third movement in the video following this one.

On another channel, aprePos, I put the first movement alone

followed by a pairing of the second and third movements:

ok, hope you enjoy! peACE!

  • Awesome job Eli G

    Thank you

  • the school I went to in California had them in the concert halls; beautiful instruments!

also, I like the old Mason & Hamlin's; hell I'll play just about anything if the notes work :)

  • oh NOW i get it! lol. me too bro :)

I have learned to tone down the spinning recently; haven't i?!?

and thanks for the update/headsup... i wouldn't worry about that one guy... there is too much good in the world, and enough good we can do every day; i never will understand why some people choose to focus on the negative, it does nothing productive! peACE!

  • yes, your music is quite melifluous, and I have tuned 9' Steinways. Ever play a Boersendorfer?

  • Play what you want but I like watching you play more than the spinning video you usually make.
