Al Copeland passed away Easter Sunday 2008. His funeral was held a week later at Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie, LA.

  • Thanks Al you gave me my first start at the popeyes on williams in Kenner You were a good man to work for .The owners of popeyes today could learn from your menu back then popeyes sold stuffed flonder,speckeled trout ,fried clams ,chicken tacos.MMM .Even when I was just a cook but when he came around He never forgot me I could make him laugh. Great Guy Thanks Al. Maybe Foryuneato can carry the tourch now.RIP Al

  • Rest in peace Al...i'll miss the great cars and speedboats big homie. first time i ever saw a lamborgini face to face was his(black and gold....i was like 8 years old 4real!!!). and who could ever forget those christmas lights...

    And last but not least... THE CHICKEN!!!! LOVE THAT CHICKEN FROM POPEYES!!!!(also thanx 4 showing me tru gangsta sh!t selling the franchise but makin them buy the seasoning thats wassup)

  • Rest in peace Mr. Copeland. I was proud to be a big part of your dream known as PHENOMENON. I was the guy who TIG welde pretty much every thing on your boat. I was the one who made it possible for everything, for the most part, to be mounted in the boat. I wish your dream the best of luck. I am confident you left your empire in the right hands. Good luck AC Jr.  I know you can make it happen.
