Closed off in Gatineau Park, in the backyard of Ottawa, lives this stretch of road that covers at least 30 kms. Cars are not allowed in this haven, as it is reserved for bikers and hikers.
One morning, avid Original Longboard riders Derek and Kyle, along with Kyle's dad Terry, gave the Gatineau Parkway a try. After 3 hours of straight riding, it was easily determined that the Gatineau Parkway is the greatest location for a good cruise for any longboarder in the Ottawa area.
This footage was filmed by Derek, Kyle and Terry on the video setting of a digital camera (quality not the greatest)
Derek rides a series of loaned longboards while saving up some scrilla for an Original Apex 37.
Kyle rides a Original Torpedo 40.
Terry rides a bike.

longest reply ever, but when i got the torpedo it was my first longboard.
so i basically just got the "basic" package if thats what you want to call it.
its a great cruiser for downtown ottawa, but in the next couple months i'm going to upgrade to an apex for these kinds of runs.

stan the man, to be honest i don't know.
i got the torpedo as my first board and in the end didn't take that much notice to the specs since i was just too damn stoked to get the board.
i'm upgrading to an apex 34 in a couple months.
there will also be many more videos to come this summer in hopes that we can get noticed by original.

depends on its setting.
when riding around public streets, dodging pedestrians and the every-now-and-then vehicle, it's ideal.
going downhill, it does the trick but a more appropriate board definitely exists. obviously can be found from original boards.
