A MSP trooper had a scary reminder of just how dangerous deer can be. On October 16, 2011, the trooper was traveling south on MnTH 15 - south of Hutchinson - when a deer jumped out and slammed into his squad. The animal's head and antlers went through the driver's side windshield. The trooper sustained only minor injuries. October and November are peak months for car -- deer crashes. MN DPS OTS has some deer safety tips, https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/ots/deer-vehicle-safety/Pages/default.aspx
@cowgirl2005up From what I know the trooper did not roll over. The camera is just suspended in the air. It was knocked loose from its mount.

Did anyone ever catch the blue Chevy the Trooper was after? Glad he is safe. Speeders not only put them selves in danger by over driving their headlights they put the men and women in maroon in danger because they have to catch them.
